Importance
​MUNGA gives students the ability to debate and discuss the issues faced in different countries. They are in groups which represent a member country of the United Nations. Debating is a key skill used to get points across and show your perspective and viewpoint.
Purpose
MUNGA helps students to understand the real-life debates that occur within meeting of the United Nations. The ability of voting is expressed by countries being able to vote for what they agree with and what they believe in. These skills can be used in future life for example voting as a democracy in a general election
Confidence
This event helps students gain confidence by standing up and speaking and expressing their views and points in front of a large group of people. Confidence is an important trait which is vital in life. The ability to debate also gives students confidence to stand up for what they believe in.
